I want a literary category on my blog, but not for reviews—there are many excellent book review blogs, and besides, I’d have to read the books. Instead, we’ll concentrate on things such as literary prizes and bestseller lists. The best books don’t necessarily win the prizes, but those that do create history and are, in theory, pretty good—although other books may be the ones that truly stand the test of time. Let’s see….
